This paper provides an overview of spray-dried dispersions (SDDs) of low-solubility compounds made with the polymer hydroxypropyl methylcellulose acetate succinate (HPMCAS). A map is presented of melting temperature/glass-transition temperature versus log P for 139 compounds formulated as SDDs, providing perspective on formulation strategies for low-solubility drugs with a variety of physical properties.
